Take the classic children's book Where the Wild Things Are, mix in decades of fan anticipation, add the legendary imagination of director Spike Jonze, throw in beautiful costumes plus the right amount of reverence for the characters, and set it all to an Arcade Fire tune, and you've got one of the best trailers of the year that for some reason you aren't watching right now. I don't care if you've seen it already, watch it again!
The new trailer for the big screen version of Get Smart is here, and while it's not as subtle as the teaser trailer, it shows more of the plot and the other actors (including Hiro from Heroes and the laughing guy from those Jetta commercials and Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip). The way they advertise the movie seems a little goofy, but I have high hopes for the actual humour none the less.
It's fun to watch this trailer for the ultimate Mac nerd documentary, and at the same time, kind of embarrassing. But you know I'll be lined up to see it...
Ever wanted to see a real Hollywood movie trailer without any annoying music getting in the way of the stellar dialogue? Well then it's a good thing someone was asleep at the controls when they released this trailer to the public.
